Internships
Are you interested in an internship at the Border Museum? No problem. Internships are possible in a wide variety of areas in the museum. We offer those interested an insight into a wide range of topics related to our day-to-day work. For more information on how to apply, please contact the museum team by telephone.
Voluntary social year
At the Schifflersgrund Border Museum you can also do a voluntary social year in the field of politics and complete your Federal Voluntary Service.
On the website of the Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendbildung Thüringen e. V. (LKJ) you can find out more about us as an employment agency.
Our current FSJ volunteer Victoria can also answer specific questions about FSJ/BFD policy.
Federal Volunteer Service
We also offer places in the Border Museum as part of the Federal Volunteer Service. The Federal Voluntary Service is an offer to people of all ages to get involved in the common good outside of work and school – in social, ecological and cultural areas or in the fields of sport, integration and civil protection and disaster control.
Volunteering is worthwhile: volunteers gain valuable life experience and we as an assignment location benefit from dedicated support that gives our work additional inspiration.
Federal Voluntary Service is also possible here at the Border Museum. Anyone interested can find out more or apply to the museum team at any time.
